SEND Teaching Assistant - Horncastle Join a school where every child can thrive! Aspire People Education Agency is looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to support students aged 5 to 16 in a school that celebrates diversity and promotes positive learning. All students have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and the school is committed to providing tailored support for everyone. Why this role is special: * Be part of a school that builds strong, positive relationships between students and staff to enable successful learning. * Support a restorative approach that helps students understand, regulate, and ultimately self-regulate their behaviour positively. * Assist with interventions across a wide range of needs, ensuring every student gets the support they require. * Work within a whole-school communication approach, including Makaton signing, verbal communication, symbols, and visual timetables. * Help students develop independence and life skills, including travel training, work experience, and preparation for adulthood. What we're looking for: * Enthusiasm for supporting young people with additional needs * Any experience working with children is highly desirable * Patience, empathy, and a commitment to inclusive education Details: * Location: Horncastle * Working hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm (term-time only) * Pay: Teaching Assistants from £105 per day This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in SEND education and make a real difference in the lives of young people.
