Senior Electrical Engineer Cambridge | £45,000 - £55,000 + benefits An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a growing building services consultancy in Cambridge. The business has recently secured several exciting commercial fit-out projects, creating an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to take ownership of projects and play a key role within a growing team. The Role You will be responsible for leading the electrical design and delivery of projects, working closely with clients, architects, contractors and other consultants. Key responsibilities include: Leading electrical design from concept through to completion. Producing and reviewing calculations, specifications and technical reports. Designing electrical services including power, lighting, emergency lighting and fire alarm systems. Coordinating designs with clients, contractors and other consultants. Attending client meetings and site visits. Mentoring junior engineers and supporting the wider team. Managing project deliverables, deadlines and technical quality.About You We're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong building services consultancy background. You'll ideally have: Previous UK building services experience is essential. Strong commercial or similar project experience. Excellent technical knowledge of electrical building services. Experience leading projects or electrical packages. Strong communication and client-facing skills. Experience with relevant design software, ideally including Revit/BIM. A desire to progress and take on greater responsibility. Existing eligibility to work in the UK - this position does not offer visa sponsorship.What's on Offer £45,000 - £55,000 salary, depending on experience. 3 days working from home every week.
