Project Planner

Project Planner Permanent Newcastle Upon Tyne £ Dependant on Experience Onsite based Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a leading project engineering business in their search for a Project Planner to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and driven planning professional looking to play a key role in the successful delivery of complex engineering projects. Working closely with Project Managers, Engineering Teams and key stakeholders, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, providing accurate reporting and ensuring projects remain on track from conception through to completion. Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 * Monitor project progress, performance and milestones across multiple live projects * Identify schedule risks, critical path activities and potential delays * Produce regular planning reports and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders * Work collaboratively with Project Managers and engineering teams to ensure project plans are robust and achievable * Support project controls activities through effective planning and reporting * Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and project delivery About You We're keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate: * Proven experience as a Project Planner within an engineering, oil & gas, energy or project-based environment * Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Projects * Experience managing and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving capability * A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach * The ambition and drive to develop their career within a growing business Desirable * Previous experience within an EPC, EPCM or project engineering environment * Understanding of project controls and performance measurement techniques * Experience working across the full project lifecycle Why Apply?
