Role Overview: Join our dynamic team at Healsgood as a Higher Level Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care within our NHS-contracted services. You will work collaboratively with pharmacists, healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation, dispensing, and distribution of medications.
Provide clinical support to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
Ensure the accuracy and quality of pharmaceutical services.
Participate in medication reviews and patient consultations.
Maintain and update patient medication records.
Engage in continuous professional development and training.
Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy services.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Relevant pharmacy technician qualification.
Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Completion of NHS mandatory training.
Proven experience in a pharmacy setting (experience level not specified).
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of pharmaceutical practices.
Desirable Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Commitment to patient-centred care.
Experience with electronic prescribing and medicines administration systems.
Compliance Requirements:
