Chef Position - Southampton Outskirts
The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.
We are currently looking for a talented and reliable Chef to join our kitchen team based on the outskirts of Southampton.
Job Details
Salary: £29,500 per annum (based on 40 hours per week)
Overtime: Paid hourly for all hours worked over 40 per week
Working Pattern: 5 days out of 7 (including evenings and weekends)
Accommodation: Live-in available on-site - £380 per month
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in line with menu standards
Ensure smooth and efficient kitchen service during busy periods
Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP)
Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
Work as part of a team and support colleagues when required
Requirements
Previous experience as a Chef in a busy kitchen (pub, restaurant, or hotel)
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards
Reliable, hardworking, and flexible with working hours
Good team player with a positive attitude
