About the role

Our client, a leading entity in the Energy and Nuclear sector, is currently seeking a Site Piping Engineer to join their dynamic team on a brand new nuclear project. This contract role requires a hands-on professional with a strong background in piping installation, construction coordination, and quality assurance. Key Responsibilities: Review and interpret engineering designs, drawings, and 3D models, and produce accurate redline mark-ups to reflect as-built conditions Act as the technical point of contact for piping installation issues, resolving construction and engineering queries in a timely manner Supervise and coordinate piping installation activities on site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements Ensure all installation works comply with applicable codes, standards, and approved documentation Manage and verify the completion of Lifetime Quality Records (LTQRs) and associated documentation to ensure full traceability and compliance Interface with construction teams, subcontractors, and quality personnel to maintain progress and resolve issues Job Requirements: Proven experience as a Piping Engineer in a site-based construction/installation environment Strong ability to interpret and amend technical drawings and models Demonstrated experience supervising installation works on major projects Solid understanding of quality processes and documentation, including LTQRs Ability to manage technical issues under site conditions with minimal supervision If you possess the abovementioned skills and are seeking a challenging role within the Energy and Nuclear sector, we encourage you to apply now to join our client's ambitious project
