About the role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded housing organisation for an Intensive Housing Officer to join its Adult Supported Housing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in supported housing, intensive housing management, housing-related support or community-based support , who is passionate about helping adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities and other complex needs maintain their independence, wellbeing and tenancy.
The role As an Intensive Housing Officer, you will:
Deliver planned Intensive Housing Management (IHM) and housing-related support to residents.
Support adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities and other complex needs.
Contribute to assessments, support plans, reviews and resident outcome monitoring.
Identify and appropriately escalate safeguarding concerns, changes in risk, incidents and welfare concerns.
Work closely with residents, families, colleagues, care providers and external partner agencies.
Attend service locations, local authority meetings, partner meetings and stakeholder forums as required.
Use case-management and ICT systems effectively while maintaining high standards of data protection and confidentiality.
Previous experience in supported housing, housing-related support, Intensive Housing Management or community-based support .
Experience supporting adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities or other complex needs .
Experience maintaining high-quality case records, support notes, risk information and outcome evidence.
A good understanding of safeguarding, risk management and tenancy sustainment.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
A Level 3 qualification in housing, health and social care, community support or a related discipline would be desirable, although equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
Additional qualifications or experience in CIH, safeguarding, mental health, health and social care, supported/exempt accommodation or tenancy sustainment would also be advantageous.
