We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of vehicle systems and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues. *Duties*

* Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and diagnostics using schematics and technical manuals
* Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
* Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment for assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks
* Interpret technical drawings and schematics to identify issues accurately
* Carry out equipment repair and welding as required to restore vehicle functionality
* Assist with vehicle assembly and component replacement projects
* Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
* Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction
* Perform heavy lifting when handling vehicle parts or equipment in accordance with safety guidelines

*Qualifications*

* Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role within the automotive industry
* Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
* Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals
* Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialised diagnostic tools
* Knowledge of maintenance procedures and equipment repair techniques
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Good communication skills for effective customer interaction
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology or mechanics are preferred but not essential
