General Operative

Job: General Operative Location: Sheffield Hours: Monday to Thursday, 10 hours days & nights Days - 6am-4pm Nights - M-W, 8pm-6am, T 4pm-2am Pay: £12.93 + 15% Shift Allowance The Job A Mill Team Worker will be responsible for carrying out all operation activities in the mill area while ensuring the strictest of Health and Safety processes. Duties The main responsibilities include: To assist with mill set ups, during size/pass changes. To assist the Roller Operative to ensure that plant operation is performed in a safe and efficient manner Work to complete the production in accordance with the planned output To cut and remove scrap. To perform all required mill duties as necessary. Liaise with Supervisor/Team regarding production issues and plant maintenance requirements. To perform first line maintenance as required.
