Mechanical Engineer Location: Peckham, London Salary: Up to £40,000 + Overtime Available Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm Mechanical Engineer – Peckham – Up to £40,000 An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established and growing engineering team based in Peckham, London. Working on a prestigious site, you will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance across a range of mechanical systems, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance. * Diagnose and repair faults across mechanical plant and equipment. * Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety procedures. * Complete maintenance reports and service documentation accurately. * Support site operations to minimise downtime and maintain performance. * Liaise with colleagues, contractors, and site management when required. Requirements: * Mechanical Engineering qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship or equivalent). * Previous experience within commercial building services, facilities management, or a similar maintenance environment. * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. * Good understanding of health and safety practices. * A proactive and reliable approach to work.
