Cover Supervisor (Secondary Schools) Location: Durham, County Durham Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Flexible Start Date: September 2026 Salary: £105-£130 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications) About the Role We are currently recruiting confident, adaptable, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support a range of secondary schools across Durham from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced support staff, or individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience within a secondary school setting. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged with their learning and complete the work set. Working across Key Stages 3 and 4, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive, productive, and well-managed learning environment.
