General Foreman - RC Frame

A well-established RC Frame & Groundworks subcontractor is looking to appoint an experienced General Foreman to join their growing operations team. With a strong pipeline of secured work across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, this contractor delivers RC frame packages on projects valued up to £10m. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Foreman with a solid background in reinforced concrete structures who is looking to work with a reputable contractor known for quality delivery and repeat business. The Role Reporting to the Site Manager / Project Manager, the successful candidate will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme. Key Responsibilities * Supervising RC frame and associated groundwork activities on site * Managing direct labour and subcontract teams * Coordinating daily site operations and short-term programming * Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained at all times * Monitoring quality control and workmanship standards * Liaising with Site Managers, Engineers, and clients * Assisting with material management and site logistics * Driving productivity to meet programme deadlines Requirements * Proven experience working as a General Foreman within RC Frame & Groundworks * Strong understanding of reinforced concrete construction methods * Experience delivering projects/packages up to £10m * Ability to manage labour, subcontractors, and site activities effectively * Excellent communication and leadership skills * SMSTS or SSSTS preferred * CSCS Card required * First Aid certification advantageous What's on Offer * Long-term opportunity with a busy and growing subcontractor * Competitive salary and package * Strong pipeline of London and South East projects * Supportive management team and progression opportunities
