If you have a background as an Engineering/Maintenance Manager, apply now for an immediate response The Job Youll Do; Oversee a range of engineering activities including fault diagnostics, breakdown cover, equipment installation and general maintenance of all plant and equipment to ensure optimum efficiency.
Attend planning meetings to submit PPM schedules.
Liaise with operations for start-up requirements and ensure that PPM takes place as planned and agreed.
Participate in necessary on-site audit processes.
Compliance to company policies, standard operating procedures and legal regulations.
Ensure accurate documentation of all necessary engineering records and reporting is maintained.
Champion Health & Safety on-site ensuring a safe working environment Participate in the H&S meetings and support in leading Safety across the site Reporting of hazards, unsafe conditions and near misses, ensuring that all related actions are implemented across site in a timely manner.
Management and control of contractors for all on-site activity.
Ensure following a fair non bias tender process when reviewing contractors to assign 3rd party tasks.
To build a united team with first-class team capability.
About You; Proven experience as an Engineering/Maintenance Manager or in a similar leadership role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
NEBOSH General Certificate, or equivalent health and safety qualification.
Experience developing and implementing safety rules or operational policies.
Professional interest, and enthusiasm for policy implementation and change management.
Experience managing direct reports, and subcontracted resources.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. xwzovoh
Excellent written skills Financial management skills and commercial awareness Strong technical knowledge and an aptitude for both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
