Key Skills
In this role, you will bring your expertise in Quantity Surveying and add measurable value across a range of areas. Essential skills for this position include:
Cost Control: Ensure project costs are efficiently managed and accurately forecasted.
Valuations: Review project metrics to assess value aligned with project goals.
NEC/Contracts: Manage contracts under the NEC framework, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
Commercial Management: Provide insight to maximize financial outcomes and minimize cost exposure.
Risk & Value Management: Identify risks and opportunities for project success.
Forecasting & Reporting: Drive proactive decision-making through precise financial modelling and reporting.
Cost/Value Reconciliation: Balance project costs and performance for sustainable outcomes.
Supply Chain Management: Oversee supplier relationships and ensure value delivery.
Stakeholder Liaison: Build robust relationships across key internal and external stakeholders.
Cashflow Management: Monitor cashflows to maintain healthy project finances.
EVM & Contract Change: Implement Earned Value Management techniques and manage variations in contracts.
