We are seeking a Family Liaison Mentor to support vulnerable students and strengthen the partnership between home and school.

This Family Liaison Mentor will play a key role in improving attendance, supporting student welfare, and working with families, staff, and external agencies to remove barriers to learning. The role would suit a compassionate and resilient professional with experience in pastoral support, trauma-informed practice, and multi-agency working.

Day-to-day of the role

• Build positive relationships between students, families, the school, and external agencies through consistent liaison, support, and negotiation.
• Monitor attendance, carry out targeted interventions, and support students and families to improve engagement with education.
