Housing Resettlement & Integration Support Officer

We are currently supporting a local council with the appointment of a Housing Resettlement & Integration Support Officer to join their Housing team on a temporary contract basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with experience in tenancy sustainment, homelessness, resettlement or housing support to make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable households.

Working across homelessness prevention, refugee resettlement and private sector housing initiatives, you will help individuals and families secure suitable accommodation, access essential services and successfully sustain their tenancies.

Hourly rate: £36.09 (Umbrella)

Contract: 6 months

Hours: Monday to Friday | 09:00am to 17:15

Location: Hertfordshire

Key Responsibilities

• Support refugee households and former asylum seekers to secure and maintain accommodation within the private rented sector
• Assist residents with accessing welfare benefits, healthcare services, employment opportunities and wider community support
• Promote and develop the Council's private rented sector offer, building relationships with landlords, letting agents and housing providers
