Job Title: Critical Shift Technician (Electrical Bias) Location: Ealing Salary: Up to £52,200 per annum Working Hours: Continental Shift Pattern – Days & Nights An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Shift Technician (Electrical Bias) to join a leading facilities management provider, working within a state-of-the-art critical/data centre environment in Ealing. This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer looking to move into the critical engineering sector, with rapid HV training and genuine progression opportunities into future leadership roles. The Role: • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across critical electrical and M&E systems. • Supporting day-to-day operations within a high-profile data centre environment. • Working on critical infrastructure to ensure maximum site uptime and reliability. • Participating in a continental shift pattern covering days and nights. • Undertaking HV training early in the role, with the expectation of progressing into HV responsibilities. The Site: • Modern critical/data centre campus • Highly technical environment with excellent exposure to critical systems • On-site parking provided • Significant future growth planned, creating strong internal progression opportunities Package: • Up to £52,200 basic salary • Continental days & nights shift pattern • On-site parking • HV training provided early in role • Excellent long-term progression into Lead Engineer opportunities • Extensive training and development pathways Requirements: • Electrical background strongly preferred. • Level 3 Electrical qualification (or equivalent) ideally required. • Experience within building services, critical environments, or commercial maintenance. • Strong fault-finding and technical problem-solving skills. • Desire to build a long-term career within critical engineering.
