An established investments house is looking for a 5-8 PQE corporate lawyer to join their legal team. You will be responsible for a range of legal matters across the business.

Working autonomously, you will advise on a wide spectrum of corporate and commercial matters that are critical to the business's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead lawyer on investments made by the business team, working closely with senior stakeholders to get deals over the line.
• Provide corporate advisory support on a wide range of matters to the Company and all internal stakeholders including at senior/Board level.
• Provide support on strategic corporate matters, governance, shareholder matters and ongoing corporate legal support.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts.
• Provide general advice on ad-hoc legal matters as they arise

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will bea 5-8 PQE Corporate lawyer, preferably with experience from a leading law firm, technology, media or financial services/regulated environment.
• Applications from candidates from a private equity background would be welcome
• Excellent contract negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
