- CONTRACT450.00 per day (Outside IR35)ContractLondonIndustrialData CentresAutoCADAn established engineering contractor has an immediate requirement for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join a major project in London on a contract basis.This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer with a background in heavy civil engineering, structural/CSA works or complex industrial projects, ideally within the data centre or industrial sectors.The successful Senior Structural Engineer will take a lead role in the engineering delivery, providing hands-on technical support while coordinating with design teams, consultants and subcontractors to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards.Responsibilities will include overseeing setting out and technical queries, reviewing drawings, specifications, method statements and risk assessments, resolving technical issues and monitoring progress against the project programme.

The role will also involve supporting quality assurance, cost control and value engineering, as well as providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and site-based staff.Candidates should hold a degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline and have proven experience working on complex construction projects.

Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, together with practical experience using GPS and Total Station equipment, is required.

Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to work confidently with multiple project stakeholders.Experience within data centres, industrial developments or heavy civil/CSA projects would be particularly advantageous.
