Finance Manager – Office based This Finance Manager position offers the chance to take full ownership of the company’s financial operations and shape long-term financial strategy. It’s a senior, hands on,office based role, for a qualified finance professional with strong manufacturing or construction experience, confident in balancing day to day control with strategic insight, passion for finance and business, with a senior level mindset. As Finance Manager, you’ll be central to driving sustainable growth, strengthening financial processes and acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, your approach being confident and able to work at C level. Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager * Lead project and construction finance, including profitability analysis, forecasting, valuations, bids, retentions, and payment cycles * Drive strategic finance activity: investment appraisal, capex, asset management, financing options, and financial modelling * Oversee day‑to‑day financial operations: reporting, cashflow, budgeting, procurement, KPIs, and continuous process improvement What You’ll Bring * Proven experience as a Finance Manager or senior finance lead, with ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualifications * Strong background in manufacturing or contracting * Expertise across cashflow, budgeting, valuations, retentions, and commercial finance * A balance of strategic capability and hands‑on delivery * Desirable: professional qualification, advanced modelling skills, M&A exposure, or experience with share schemes How You Work * You strengthen processes, controls, and governance * You’re confident with compliance, tax, and accounting standards * You can integrate finance systems with operational platforms * You communicate clearly and work effectively with directors, auditors, banks, and advisors. Due to the nature of the role, it is office based, therefore you will need to live within a daily commutable distance, using your own transport.
