Network Operations Engineer Financial Trading London | City Financial | Hybrid WFH/Office £85K + Package & Bonus Leading financial exchange is looking for a hands-on Network Operations Engineer to support a low-latency trading network across on-premise and cloud environments. Technology TCP/IP, Routing, Switching & RSTP OSPF / BGP Firewalls & Fortinet IPSEC VPNs Arista EOS AWS Networking Multicast / PIM / PTP Wireshark / TCPdump / Syslog SolarWinds / Network Monitoring Ansible / Python The Role Monitor and support live network, security and trading infrastructure Troubleshoot complex network issues using logs, monitoring and packet analysis Manage client connectivity, onboarding and access Support leased lines, circuits and telecoms providers Implement network/security changes and contribute to infrastructure projects Perform incident investigation and root-cause analysis Experience 4+ years Network Engineering / Network Security experience , ideally within financial services or another high-performance environment. CCNP or equivalent experience preferred. Early-start operational rota 06:3018:30 , with occasional weekend/Bank Holiday cover and Data Centre visits.
