As a Senior Transport Planning Engineer, you will be at the forefront of responding to major planning proposals, working closely with developers, local planning authorities, consultants and colleagues to ensure new developments are designed with safe, sustainable and efficient transport networks at their heart. You will use your expertise in highways and transport planning to secure infrastructure improvements that mitigate the impact of growth, enhance accessibility for communities and support the delivery of Suffolk’s transport ambitions. Alongside contributing to town-wide transport plans and identifying innovative solutions to local transport challenges, you will lead and develop a team of Transport Planning Engineers and Technicians, helping them to thrive and achieve their potential.
