Senior Development Coordinator

Our client, is seeking a Senior Development Coordinator to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves leading and managing large-scale development projects, including schemes consisting of a couple of thousand dwellings.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and overseeing large-scale development projects within the highways sector
• Providing expert guidance and leadership on complex projects, ensuring the team can handle the detailed work
• Ensuring effective development control and adherence to relevant policies and standards
• Utilising traffic modelling software such as VISUM, SATURN, and other related tools for project planning and analysis
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success
• Conducting thorough assessments and reviews of development proposals and their impacts on the highway network
• Maintaining clear and effective communication with all project stakeholders
• Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively

Job Requirements

• Extensive experience in highway development and control
• Proven track record in leading large-scale development projects
• Expertise in traffic modelling and familiarity with tools such as VISUM and SATURN
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong understanding of relevant highway policies and standards
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in a related field
