Investment Banking Analyst / Associate – ECM and Corporate Broking

As part of a team that challenges convention and strives for outperformance, you'll help shape bold solutions for clients who expect something more than the ordinary.About the team:You will join our Investment Banking & Corporate Broking team, working across both Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and our Support Services Corporate Broking function.This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure across origination, execution, and client relationship management, supporting listed and private companies through critical moments in their growth journey.Operating in a collaborative, high-performing environment, the team works closely with corporates, investors, regulators and broader advisory partners to deliver strategic insights and capital solutions. This role is ideally suited to an Analyst 3/4 or Associate looking to broaden their experience across both ECM and corporate broking.What will I be doing?You will play a key role across both ECM execution and corporate broking activities:Equity Capital Markets (ECM)Supporting and driving the preparation of pitch books, market updates, and transaction materialsContributing to ECM origination, including client and transaction targeting exercisesMaintaining knowledge of market activity, including Dealogic and bookbuilding processesDeveloping relationships with syndicate teams, investors and advisory partnersSupporting idea generation and execution across equity transactionsCorporate BrokingWorking with retained clients, providing day-to-day support across key events such as results, capital markets days and roadshowsAssisting with strategic advisory work, including development of new business ideasSupporting the expansion of the retained client baseLiaising with regulators and supporting governance requirementsWhat do I need to bring?Experience within investment banking, ECM, or corporate broking (Analyst 3/4 or Associate level)Strong understanding of financial analysis, valuation and financial modelling techniquesGood working knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g. FCA, AIM Rules, City Code on Takeovers)Ability to prepare high-quality materials and support client pitches and execution processesStrong attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and governanceConfidence engaging with both internal stakeholders and external clientsCore behaviours we look for:A proactive, self-starting mindset with a strong desire to learnEntrepreneurial thinking and a drive to contribute to franchise growthA collaborative, team-first approachStrong interpersonal and communication skillsThe ability to build relationships with senior stakeholdersI am good at:Financial analysis, modelling and valuationProducing high-quality presentations and client materialsManaging multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environmentBuilding relationships and working collaboratively across teamsCommunicating clearly with both technical and non-technical audiencesMaintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detailAs part of our collaborative & agile culture, our working week is 4 days in the office and one day remote.
