Cnc Programmer Operator

CNC Programmer – Joinery / Cabinet Making Background We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer with a strong bench joinery / cabinet making background to join a busy manufacturing environment. This role will suit someone who understands the full joinery process and can create efficient CNC programmes for operators to run, while improving machining processes and workshop productivity. Key Responsibilities: * Creating CNC programmes and nesting layouts for production * Preparing machining files and ensuring work is ready before reaching the CNC machines * Selecting tooling and developing efficient machining strategies * Standardising programming methods and improving processes * Reducing cycle times and minimising programming errors * Supporting and training CNC operators where required Skills & Requirements: * Previous experience as a bench joiner, cabinet maker or furniture maker is essential * Strong CNC programming experience within a joinery/manufacturing environment * Knowledge of CNC machining, nesting and tooling * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings * Process-driven with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced joiner who has progressed into CNC programming and wants to play a key role in improving production methods and supporting a skilled workshop team
