Due to continued expansion, they are seeking two Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join their engineering team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced engineers who are confident working across both mechanical and electrical disciplines within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production machinery Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime Maintain and support a range of automated and semi-automated equipment Work closely with production teams to ensure maximum machine efficiency Ensure all work is completed in line with health, safety, and food hygiene standards Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives Essential Skills & Experience Recognised mechanical and electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent) Proven experience as a multi-skilled engineer in a manufacturing environment Strong electrical fault-finding skills (control panels, motors, sensors, inverters) Solid mechanical maintenance experience (conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics, hydraulics) Experience with PPM systems and breakdown maintenance Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics Desirable Experience Previous experience in food manufacturing or FMCG xwzovoh Awareness of GMP, HACCP, and hygiene standards PLC fault-finding experience (Siemens / Allen Bradley preferred) Experience with packaging machinery or automated production lines Personal Attributes Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills Proactive, flexible, and reliable approach to work Able to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills in a production environment To apply or for further confidential discussion, please contact Reed Recruitment, who are representing this vacancy on behalf of our client, or submit your CV via the "Apply" link
