About the role
Year 1 Teacher Full-Time, Permanent Chatham, Kent Start Date: September 2026 We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and committed Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Chatham, Kent on a full-time, permanent basis starting in September 2026.

The successful candidate will: Deliver high-quality teaching and learning within Year 1 Create a positive, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment Have high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour Support children's transition from EYFS into Key Stage 1 Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community Demonstrate strong classroom organisation and effective communication skills We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
