Cyber Security Analyst, Aviation Security

Job Description hackajob is collaborating with Heathrow to connect them with exceptional professionals for this role. /n Description /n As a Cyber Security Analyst – Aviation, you will play a key role in safeguarding regulated aviation security systems and protecting critical infrastructure that underpins safe and secure aviation operations. /n Working within a specialist security unit, you will undertake detailed analysis, technical evaluations and assurance activities to strengthen resilience across aviation environments. You will promote a Secure by Design approach across programmes and ensure compliance with aviation regulatory requirements, including the protection of computer rooms and data centres. /n Responsibilities /n Cyber Security Oversight: /n /n - Assess, monitor, and enhance the resilience of regulated aviation security systems to ensure they meet security requirements and compliance standards. /n /n Stakeholder Liaison & Collaboration: /n /n - Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, external aviation authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment on security best practices and standards. /n /n Secure by Design: /n /n - Champion "Secure by Design" principles across the organisation to ensure that security is integrated at all stages of system development and implementation. /n /n Risk Management & Incident Response: /n /n - Contribute to the risk management process to identify potential threats to aviation security systems and proactively mitigate risks. /n /n Qualifications /n /n - At least 3 years’ cyber security experience within aviation, a regulated environment or Critical National Infrastructure /n - Experience working with aviation authorities or regulatory bodies in compliance-driven environments /n - Hands-on involvement in securing critical infrastructure, including computer rooms and data centres /n - Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders across technical and operational teams /n - Strong understanding of aviation cyber security systems, regulatory frameworks and industry standards /n - Practical experience embedding Secure by Design principles into architecture and delivery /n - Confident communicator able to engage with engineers, senior stakeholders and regulators /n - Solid grasp of cyber security controls, risk management frameworks and modern security technologies /n
