Legal Cashier £35,000 Glasgow City Full-Time | Established Law Firm | Immediate Start Are you a confident Legal Cashier ready for your next challenge? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established legal practice with more than 200 years in business. Renowned for its collaborative culture and commitment to delivering an exceptional service, the firm is looking to welcome an experienced Legal Cashier to its friendly and supportive finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and organised Legal Cashier who takes pride in providing an accurate and efficient cashiering service while ensuring full compliance with the Law Society of Scotland Accounts Rules, Anti Money Laundering regulations, VAT requirements, and the firm's internal financial procedures. This is a full time, permanent position based in the firm's Glasgow office. Working Hours Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 17:00 This is an office-based role. Key Responsibilities * Ensure compliance with the Law Society of Scotland Accounts Rules. * Maintain accurate accounting records and audit trails. * Process client and office account transactions, supplier invoices, and firm payments. * Prepare documentation and support external audits and Accounts Certificates. * Assist with month end and year-end financial procedures. * Provide day to day support to the Practice Manager and external accountants. * Reconcile bank accounts and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date. What We're Looking For * At least 12 months' experience working as a Legal Cashier within a Scottish law firm. * Strong knowledge of the Law Society of Scotland Accounts Rules. * Experience of payroll processes, audit preparation, and regulatory inspections. * SOLAS Legal Cashier qualification, or willingness to undertake training following probation.
