Outwith Producer

Join the National Library of Scotland as our Outwith Producer and help bring collections, stories and public engagement to communities across Scotland. You will lead the planning and delivery of place-based partnerships, exhibitions, events and outreach activity, working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners. We’re looking for a creative, organised producer with strong project management, relationship-building and evaluation skills, ideally with experience in cultural heritage, exhibitions or public programming. This is an exciting opportunity to shape inclusive, high-quality engagement beyond our buildings and connect audiences with the Library in meaningful, memorable ways. Launched in 2025, Outwith has seen the National Library working in close collaboration with museums and libraries across Scotland, including Perth Museum, Aberdeen Art Gallery and Shetland Museum and Archives, supported by local schools, libraries, and community groups.
