Nursing Home Manager (Nurse or Non-Nurse) Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 per annum Location: Forfar We are seeking an experienced and resilient Nursing Home Manager to lead and stabilise a care home currently undergoing significant improvement and transformation. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong manager with proven turnaround experience who thrives in challenging environments and is passionate about raising standards, improving compliance, and leading teams through change. We are looking for a confident and capable leader who can take ownership, rebuild morale, drive performance, and deliver high-quality care standards. The Role • Provide strong operational and clinical leadership across the home • Lead the home through a period of change and improvement • Drive compliance, governance, and quality standards • Manage staffing, performance, recruitment, and team development • Build positive relationships with residents, families, professionals, and external stakeholders • Ensure the home delivers safe, person-centred care • Prepare for and manage regulatory inspections Requirements • Previous experience as a Nursing Home Manager or Registered Manager • Nurse qualified or non-nurse candidates considered • Strong management background within elderly care/care homes • Proven turnaround experience is essential • Confident managing compliance challenges and improving standards • Resilient, organised, and able to lead under pressure • Excellent leadership and communication skills What’s on Offer • Salary of £60,000 – £75,000 depending on experience • Opportunity to make a genuine impact within the service • Supportive senior leadership team • Career progression opportunities If you are an experienced care home leader looking for your next challenge and have the skills to drive meaningful change, we would love to hear from you.
