MIG/TIG Welder

We are currently hiring MIG/TIG Welders to join a leading manufacturer. You will be in a busy workshop environment and responsible for performing high-quality welds, using MIG and TIG techniques, to fabricate and assemble metal components. Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm Friday 7am-1pm Rate: £15.19 Type: Temp ongoing Location: Lye, DY9 Key Responsibilities: * Execute precise MIG and TIG welding on a variety of materials, including mild and hard steel. * Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment efficiently * Assist in the assembly of components, ensuring proper fit and finish according to engineering drawings and specifications. * Responsible for the completion of a wide range of fabrications to time to meet powder coating schedules/production requirements. * Welding mild and hard steel ranging from 2.5mm to 20mm. * Ensuring tooling, jigs and fixtures are fit for purpose and meet production requirements to produce components to the required standard. * Ensuring that housekeeping of work area is maintained. * Responsibilities as listed in Quality Control Manual and procedures to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 requirements. Requirements: * Reliability and good communication skills. * Able to use hand tools. * Experienced MIG/TIG Welder * Must be confident carrying out fillet welds on various types of steel and tube. * Ability to read technical drawings although training will be provided for the right candidate * IT literate * Ability to troubleshoot For more information, please apply with a copy of your CV today and a member of our team will be in touch
