About the role

We are looking for a skilled ASP.NET / Front-End Developer with a strong foundation in network security and firewall configuration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ASP.NET technologies and front-end development, coupled with working knowledge of firewall rules, access controls, and network policies. Experience with Palo Alto Networks is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web applications using ASP.NET (C#) and modern front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular).
  • Collaborate with security and network teams to integrate firewall policies and security protocols into applications.
  • Assist in the design and validation of firewall rules and ACLs, ensuring secure access to application modules.
  • Translate security and compliance requirements into front-end behavior and access control logic.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to application-layer firewall conflicts and rule enforcement.
  • Work closely with DevOps/network teams on deployment, access, and secure routing.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in ASP.NET (C#) web development.
  • Strong front-end skills with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and any modern framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
  • Good understanding of network security principles, firewall rules, ports, protocols, and access control.
  • Exposure to firewall management tools (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet).
  • Ability to read and apply basic firewall configurations to development workflows.
  • Experience in working with DevOps/SRE teams and understanding deployment pipelines.
