Private Client Solicitor/Senior Solicitor

Are you a private client solicitor looking to take the next step with a firm that's genuinely growing?Our client, a well-established and highly regarded private wealth practice based in Glasgow city centre, is expanding its team and looking to appoint an additional Private Client Solicitor/Senior Solicitor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, successful team working at the top end of the private client market - advising high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients on some of the most technically interesting work in the field.The Role: Reporting to the Head of Department, you'll take on a varied and intellectually engaging caseload, including:Preparing and advising on Wills and Powers of AttorneyHigh net worth and ultra-high net worth Inheritance Tax planning, including lifetime and death planning and asset transfersEstate administrationCreation and variation of TrustsTrust administration, including calculation of 10-year and exit chargesWinding up trustsNegotiating directly with HM Revenue and Customs You'll manage your own caseload proactively and independently, while working collaboratively within a supportive and experienced team.
