Rail Structures Project Manager

Are you a Civil / Structural Project Manager with rail infrastructure experience?   Do you have NEC4 contract experience?   Job Title: Project Manager Location: Cardiff (Office & Site Based) Rate: £400 - £475 per day (CIS / Inside IR35 via Umbrella) Contract: Long-Term Contract Start Date: ASAP   Looking for a long-term infrastructure contract where you can take ownership of a major project from pre-construction through to delivery?   This is an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a flagship Access for All scheme in Cardiff, involving the construction of a new bridge structure providing improved access and connectivity to a local university. With detailed design nearing completion and construction commencing this autumn, you'll play a key role in delivering a high-profile infrastructure project.   The role will suit a client-facing Project Manager with a strong structures background who is comfortable managing multidisciplinary subcontractors and driving project delivery within an NEC4 environment.   Where you will add value: ·Leading the delivery of a major Access for All infrastructure scheme. ·Managing multidisciplinary work packages including piling, reinforced concrete, telecoms, electrical works, and lift installations ·Administering NEC4 contractual processes, including compensation events and change management ·Managing subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme ·Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and key project stakeholders ·Working closely with commercial, design, and operational teams throughout the project lifecycle ·Monitoring programme, risk, cost, and project performance through a cloud-based contractor management platform   To succeed in this role, you will need: ·Previous experience operating as a Project Manager on rail infrastructure projects ·Strong structures background, ideally involving bridges, reinforced concrete, or civil engineering schemes ·NEC4 contract knowledge and experience managing compensation events ·Strong client-facing and communication skills ·Main contractor / Subcontractor background preferred   Why this contract stands out: ·Long-term contract opportunity on a flagship infrastructure project ·High-profile Access for All scheme with significant stakeholder visibility ·Opportunity to manage a project from mobilisation through to completion ·Immediate requirement with a fast interview and onboarding process ·Strong project pipeline with potential for further opportunities beyond the initial scheme ·Potential vehicle provision for the right candidate   If you're a Project Manager with a strong structures background looking for a long-term contract and the opportunity to lead a major infrastructure scheme, get in touch for a confidential discussion
