Python Engineer 120,000 + PnL Share on DeskQuant Capital is urgently looking for a Python Engineer to join our high profile client.Our client is a well known global High Frequency Trading firm. They value technology especially the opensource variety as well as scalability and robust performance (much like their track record).This is a bleeding edge role as close as it gets to the market. You will participate in providing financial and operational support to the firm.You are working directly on the desk of two traders and growing support staff. The desk is focused on technology with automated trading algorithms and statistics at the forefront. You will learn how fixed-income ETFs are traded and the workings of being a market maker on serval exchanges. In addition, you will be key in developing tools to analyse data patterns, manage portfolio construction and risk, and price and break down ETFs.The Trading Technology team is responsible for building trading systems, rapid application development and trading algos.Python Trading Engineers MUST have:· Python· Libraries [all standard data processing ones]: sklearn, NumPy, pandas etc.· Web devolvement: Nginx, flask, javascript· Postgresql· Linux· Interest in data science· Experience working in a Linux environment· 2:1 STEM Degree from a RedbrickThe environment is that of Facebook or Google, relaxed open with time to think and make the right decisions. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed with an open dress code.
