This role supports business objectives through the development and implementation of training and competence strategies, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.The area of responsibility covers all four Coretrax Product Lines globally.ADVANCE – Drilling toolsAEON        – Plug and abandonmentCORE        – Expandable linersORIGIN      – Wellbore clean upKey Activities and AccountabilitiesDevelop and implement a Competence Assurance Strategy aligned to short and long-term business objectivesLead the identification, development, and delivery of Technical Training to support operational and organisational needsEnsure the effective utilisation of resources, monitoring performance against agreed plansSupport and develop a team of Regional and Product Line technical trainers, ensuring high standards of service deliveryOversee the training needs analysis process, using data to prioritise training requirements (courses, locations, target groups) and evaluate training effectivenessManage and promote the Expro Competence Assurance Program, acting as a champion to drive engagement and understanding across the businessRecommend and implement cost-effective training and competence solutions that improve business performanceDeliver presentations and training sessions on competence assurance topics to support engagement with the Competence Assurance ProgramCollaborate with Group Competence Assurance on strategic projects and initiativesPeople & LeadershipProvide leadership, mentoring and coaching to Regional and Product Line TrainersLiaise with Product Line Managers and Subject Matter Experts to ensure effective training solutions are developed and deliveredUse effective influencing skills to drive compliance with the Competence Assurance ProgramEnsure competence frameworks are effectively used to develop and assess employeesConduct competence assessments where requiredJob Knowledge and QualificationsExperience within Workshop, Operational, and Competence Assurance environmentsProven training and coaching experienceExperience in the maintenance of downhole equipmentOperational experience in more than one of the following areas: Wellbore clean upWell abandonmentDownhole drilling toolsExpandable linersAt Expro, we live by our values, People, Performance, Planet and Partnerships.  People are always at the heart of our success.
