This Electro Mechanical Technician role is an excellent opportunity for a practical, detail-focused technician to join a growing technology business where no two days are quite the same.
Working as part of a busy technical and operations team, you will be responsible for building, assembling, wiring, testing and maintaining advanced electro-mechanical systems and equipment. This is a hands-on Electro Mechanical Technician position suited to someone who enjoys practical problem solving, working from engineering specifications and playing a key role in ensuring products are built, tested and ready for use.
As an Electro Mechanical Technician your responsibilities will include:
Building, assembling and configuring electro-mechanical systems, sub-assemblies and components in line with engineering specifications
Carrying out wiring, soldering, crimping, cable assembly, mechanical fitting and light fabrication work
Conducting bench testing, inspection, fault finding and system validation prior to release or operation
Performing routine maintenance, repairs, upgrades and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical and electronic systems
Maintaining accurate build records, test documentation, maintenance logs and supporting continuous improvement across processes and equipment
As an Electro Mechanical Technician, you will need:
Proven experience in electro-mechanical assembly, build, test, maintenance or repair work
Confidence working with wiring, electronics, mechanical components, hand tools and technical drawings
Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical and system-level issues
Good attention to detail, organisation and documentation skills
A proactive, flexible and hands-on approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a fast-moving teamThis Electro Mechanical Technician position would suit someone who enjoys variety, technical challenge and the satisfaction of seeing a product through from build and assembly to testing, validation and final readiness.
