Are you an organised, proactive Office Manager or Administrator who enjoys being at the heart of a busy business?
We are delighted to be supporting a well-established and growing business in their search for an Office Manager to help oversee the smooth day-to-day running of their offices across the East Midlands.
This is a genuinely varied, hands-on role within a friendly and supportive team that values its people. You will have the opportunity to take ownership, build strong relationships across the business and grow your responsibilities as the company continues to develop.
No two days will be the same. From supporting office operations and facilities to coordinating IT queries, onboarding new starters and helping with HR administration, you will play a key role in keeping everything running efficiently.
The Role
Working closely with the Senior Management team, you will provide essential operational and administrative support, including:
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of multiple offices.
Assisting with audits, compliance documentation and internal reporting.
Preparing internal communications, documents and reports.
Organising internal meetings, Teams calls, staff inductions and training sessions.
Maintaining accurate staff and training records.
Supporting recruitment, onboarding and new starter inductions.
Coordinating appraisal arrangements and assisting with general HR queries.
Liaising with suppliers and contractors where required.
Supporting occasional social media activity and wider business initiatives.
Maintaining office supplies and ensuring each location is organised, welcoming and operational.
Acting as the first point of contact for IT and telephony queries, logging and escalating issues with external providers.
About You
You’ll ideally have:
Previous experience in an Office Manager, Administrator or office support role.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills and a professional, approachable manner.
Confidence using IT systems and dealing with external suppliers.
A proactive, hands-on approach, with a willingness to get involved wherever needed.
Strong attention to detail when managing records, documentation and compliance.
The ability to work independently while enjoying being part of a collaborative team.This role would suit someone who wants more than just an administrative position: someone who enjoys making a difference, becoming a trusted part of the team and growing alongside a successful business.
