Interim Assistant Accountant - Hull – Competitive Salary Chase & Holland are working exclusively with a well-established manufacturing business in Hull, who are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to support the finance team during a period of transition for a minimum of 4 months, until at least the end of January 2027. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager this role will play an integral part in supporting the business with day-to-day transactional finance up to trial balance. In return you will receive:   Competitive Salary 23 days holiday plus bank holidays per annum Pension scheme Free onsite parking Early finish on a Friday Assistant Accountant key responsibilities:   Raising and processing daily sales invoices, ensuring correct pricing Processing of credit notes and debit notes Purchase Ledger Checking, reconciling and processing supplier payments Credit Control Bank reconciliation Monthly reporting of Sales Ledger & Purchase Ledger Assisting with payroll Managing employee expense claims Prepare accounts up to trial balance Prepare and post journals including prepayments and accruals Audit support Requirements: Experience working in a similar varied accounts role, including preparing accounts to TB Excellent communication skill both written and verbal Highly computer literate including Excel Team player and ability to work in a close-knit team Strong organisational skills If you are interested in finding out about this exciting Assistant Accountant opportunity, click ‘apply now'.
