The work would involve all aspects of private client work with a particular focus on wills and powers of attorney, lifetime trusts and will trusts, and the drafting and administration of these. You will also be involved in meeting clients and advising on executry administration. STEP qualification would be desirable but not a necessity.The role will involveMeeting clients and advising on wills and powers of attorney, drafting these and arranging for execution of these documentsProviding succession, asset protection and tax planning adviceExecutry administrationParticipating in business development initiativesSupporting Knowledge ManagementManaging and supervising junior fee earnersAs a solicitor, you will be expected to beExperienced in Private Client workAble to manage a varied workloadCapable of delivering a first-class service to our clientsAble to work effectively and efficiently as an individual and as part of a multi-disciplinary teamAccurate and concise in both written and verbal communicationAble to meet agreed fee earning targets and have an understanding of financial issues relevant to your roleCommitted to your personal development and development of technical skills and know-howEnthusiasm for participating in business developmentAnderson Strathern is an equal opportunities employer.
