Our client is a well-established and innovative manufacturer within the electrical, mechanical, and safety infrastructure sector. With a strong global presence and a reputation for high-quality engineered products, they supply conduit systems, cable management solutions, metal framing, and a wide range of specialist safety and installation components.
They are now expanding production within their product range and are seeking an experienced Crosshead Extrusion Setter to join their growing team.
What Youll Do:
Report to a Team Leader and follow all allocated tasks and instructions
Set and operate Extrusion machines
Clean, maintain, and care for tools and equipment
Inspect incoming and outgoing raw materials and components to maintain quality standards
Keep production and quality records accurate and up to date
Maintain excellent 5S housekeeping within your work area
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the department
Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures at all times
Expirience with Profile, tubes, conduit, coextruding.
Carry out additional duties as required
What You Bring:
Solid experience setting and running extrusion corrugation machinery
experience in profile extrusion setting and crosshead extrusion setting
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Motivation to meet production targets safely and to high quality standards
A proactive mindset with a commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and safe working practices
What Success Looks Like in This Role:
Safety: Zero harm to yourself or colleagues
Quality: No defective raw materials accepted into the facility
Delivery: Timely offloading and processing of raw materials xwzovoh
Consistency: Zero machine downtime caused by material delays
