Job Description: Production Operative | Chadderton | 3 on 3 off Rate: £13.17 per hour Shifts: Days I 6.00 am - 6.10 pm I 3 on, 3 off (11.6 hours per shift) (Weekends will be included depending on how the pattern falls) Breaks – 2x 15 mins paid break, 35 minute unpaid lunch Training: For 4 weeks, will be on the rotational shift of: Monday to Friday, 6 am to 2.10 pm, then 2 pm to 10.10 pm We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Production Operative / Ply Cutter to join a busy manufacturing site in Chadderton. Key Responsibilities: * Operate various production machines safely and efficiently, including cutting, heat seaming, perforating, slitting, and stitching equipment. * Set up and run the Ply Cutter, ensuring correct start points, materials, and quantities are used. * Pick and collect materials from the warehouse and prepare them for cutting. * Lay up materials accurately, checking for any defects before production. * Input job details into the computer system and produce labels as required. * Inspect finished products and isolate any non-conforming items. * Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and prepare work areas for the next shift. * Follow all company Health & Safety procedures and report any hazards immediately.
