Software Engineer (Water)

Aqua-Tech Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Software Engineer to join a growing team delivering automation and control system projects within the Water & Wastewater sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work on projects from design through to commissioning, supporting the delivery of high-quality automation solutions across the industry. The Role: • Design and develop PLC, HMI and SCADA systems • Produce technical documentation including FDS, I/O lists and system architecture • Carry out software testing, commissioning and troubleshooting • Support telemetry integration and network communications • Work closely with clients to ensure standards and project requirements are met Requirements: • Previous experience within the Water & Wastewater industry is essential • Strong PLC and HMI programming experience • Experience with software testing and commissioning • Knowledge of network setup and integration across multiple PLCs • Good client-facing communication skills • Electrical qualification or equivalent industry experience Experience with: • Mitsubishi GX Works • Allen Bradley Studio 5000 Logix • Siemens TIA Portal / Unified HMI • Wonderware SCADA systems If you have a strong automation background within the water sector and are looking for your next opportunity, we’d love to hear from you
