Software Developer (.NET) Belfast | Hybrid £45,000-£55,000 Are you a C#/.NET Developer who enjoys solving complex integration challenges and having genuine ownership of your work? We're working with an established Belfast software business that is adding a Backend Software Developer to a small, dedicated engineering team. You'll initially help deliver a major systems integration for a large international customer before moving onto the continued development of a wider business-critical platform. You'll work closely with the customer, contribute to technical decisions and help shape how new and existing systems connect. What you'll be working on Your first project will involve integrating a new platform with an established back-office system. You'll design and build the Web APIs that connect the two environments, working closely with both technical colleagues and customer stakeholders throughout delivery. Once the integration is complete, you'll continue developing and improving the wider backend platform, giving you longer-term ownership beyond the initial project. What we're looking for Around four or more years' commercial C#/.NET development experience Strong experience building or integrating REST APIs Good knowledge of object-oriented development Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering work within a small team This opportunity could suit an established Senior Developer or a strong mid-level engineer ready to take on greater ownership and client responsibility.
