Procurement & Purchase Ledger Clerk

Our client, a successful, stable & established company based in the Stockport area, is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger specialist to join their small finance function and become a key member of their finance family!! You will have full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the purchase ledger, ensuring supplier payments are processed accurately and on time while maintaining strong working relationships across the business. Working within a close-knit team, you'll enjoy a varied role that goes beyond traditional purchase ledger duties, with involvement in stock management, month-end activities, and providing support to the wider finance function. Take full ownership of the end-to-end purchase ledger process. Maintain accurate supplier account records. Handle supplier queries in a personable & professional manner, building positive working relationships. Assist with month-end processes, including reconciliations and accruals. Support the Finance Manager and wider finance team with reporting and record keeping. Quarterly stock reconciliations. Adhoc office finance assistance. Previous experience within a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable position. Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
