Project Accountant

Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Project Accountant to join an established team based in Portsmouth on a 6-month FTC. This is a varied role suited to an experienced finance professional with a strong background in financial reporting, forecasting and management accounts, alongside an interest in improving financial processes and controls. Benefits: Competitive salary, plus up to 10% bonus Hybrid working Flexible working hours Generous Pension The Project Accountant Role: Supporting accurate and timely financial reporting across the business Preparing and improving management accounts, forecasting and budgeting information Supporting cash flow, treasury and VAT reporting Reviewing and improving financial processes and controls Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and financial reporting Supporting external audits and wider finance projects Working closely with senior stakeholders to provide meaningful financial insight Supporting the implementation and improvement of finance systems and processes The Ideal Project Accountant Candidate: Previous experience in a similar role Qualified ACCA/CIMA accountant or equivalent Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities A process-driven approach with a genuine interest in continuous improvement Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels Comfortable working independently, taking ownership and using initiative   Please contact Zoe Jones at Dynamite Recruitment on (phone number removed) for more details or apply now!!!! #accountancy&finance2026
