About the role

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – High‑Growth Luxury Jewellery Brand

Our client are a fast‑growing luxury jewellery brand that is currently in start up/ growth mode but has already achieved strong profitability within a short period of launch. With ambitious expansion plans, including international growth, retail showroom development and external investment, they are seeking our first senior finance leader to help scale the business through its next stage of growth.

This is a rare opportunity to join an entrepreneurial, founder‑led company with a differentiated product offering, strong brand momentum, and a clear path towards significant revenue growth over the coming years.

The Role

As CFO, you will transform the finance function from an outsourced operation into a strategic in‑house capability. Working closely with the founders and leadership team, you will lead financial planning, support fundraising activity, improve operational reporting, and help guide key commercial decisions across the business.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys building systems, driving change, and working in a fast‑paced scaling environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Finance & Growth

  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, cash flow management, and scenario modelling.
  • Provide commercial analysis across sales, marketing, operations, and customer acquisition.
  • Evaluate expansion opportunities, including new retail locations and international growth.

Financial Operations & Controls

  • Develop robust management reporting, KPIs, board reporting, and financial controls.
  • Manage external finance partners while building internal finance capabilities.
  • Improve financial processes through ERP and CRM integration.
  • Monitor margins, working capital, inventory, and operational performance.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Strong experience in financial control, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to translate financial data into strategic insights.
  • Background in luxury, consumer goods, fashion, retail, or premium brands.
  • Comfortable operating within a high‑growth, entrepreneurial business.
  • Experience with inventory, manufacturing, retail, or product‑based business models.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fundraising, investor relations, and data room experience.
  • Familiarity with direct‑to‑consumer business models and performance marketing metrics.
