HR Operations Coordinator

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a leading organisation as they seek to appoint an HR Operations Coordinator to join their growing and collaborative People team.

The role:

As HR Operations Officer, you will play a key role in delivering a first-class HR service across the organisation. From supporting new starters on their first day to ensuring accurate HR data and seamless processes throughout the employee lifecycle, you'll be at the centre of a busy and evolving People function.

Working closely with colleagues across HR, payroll and the wider business, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of key processes while identifying ways to improve and streamline how HR support is delivered.

The main responsibilities:

Take ownership of key HR administration and operational processes across the employee lifecycle.

Coordinate a seamless onboarding experience for new employees, ensuring everything is in place from offer through to their first day.

Manage offboarding processes and ensure employee records are maintained accurately and efficiently.

Prepare contracts, letters and other HR documentation.

Maintain and update HR systems, ensuring excellent data accuracy and integrity.

Act as a first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries, providing a professional and responsive service.

Support recruitment activity, including coordinating interviews, preparing documentation and managing candidate administration.

Produce HR reports and provide accurate people data to support the wider HR team.

Work closely with HR, payroll and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth and consistent employee experience.

Identify opportunities to simplify, improve and standardise HR processes.

Support the continued development of an efficient and evolving HR Operations function.

The ideal candidate:

Previous experience within an HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, HR Officer or HR Shared Services role.

Experience supporting HR processes across the employee lifecycle.

Strong experience managing HR administration and maintaining accurate employee records.

Comfortable working with HR systems and using data to support HR activity.

Highly organised, detail-focused and able to manage multiple priorities.

A confident communicator who enjoys building positive working relationships.

Proactive and solutions-focused, with an interest in improving processes.

HR or CIPD qualified, or currently working towards a qualification
