About the role
We are currently working with an established Building Services consultancy who are looking to appoint an experienced Revit Technician to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Revit Technician with a background in MEP / Building Services to work on a diverse range of projects across sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare and high-value developments.
You will work closely with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, designers and project teams to produce high-quality technical drawings and coordinated 3D models using Revit.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce detailed MEP models and drawings using Revit.
* Develop mechanical and electrical building services layouts from design information.
* Produce detailed drawings, schematics and coordinated models to the required standards.
* Work closely with engineers and other members of the design team.
* Assist with BIM coordination and clash detection.
* Ensure drawings and models are accurate, coordinated and delivered to project deadlines.
* Review and update drawings in line with design changes.
* Liaise with other disciplines to ensure effective coordination.
* Support project teams throughout the design and delivery process.
* Maintain high standards of drawing quality and BIM procedures.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
* Previous experience as a Revit Technician within Building Services / MEP.
* Strong working knowledge of Revit.
* Experience producing mechanical and/or electrical building services drawings.
* Understanding of BIM processes and multidisciplinary coordination.
* Experience working within a consultancy, contractor or MEP environment.
* Good attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* The ability to work independently as well as part of a wider design team.
Desirable
* Experience with AutoCAD.
* Knowledge of Navisworks and clash detection.
* Experience working on multidisciplinary projects.
* Relevant technical qualification in Building Services, Engineering or a related discipline.
